These general terms and conditions of sale apply to all sales concluded on the website https://www.houfaz.net subject to the specific conditions indicated in the presentation of the services.

We reserve the right to modify our general conditions at any time.

The customer declares that he/she has read and accepted the general terms and conditions of sale before placing his/her order. The validation of your order is therefore considered as acceptance of the general terms and conditions of sale.

ARTICLE 2: Essential characteristics of the services

In return for payment, we offer a distance learning (internet) service for memorising the Quran.

ARTICLE 3: Prices

Courses are charged according to the number of lessons in the month.

Prices are in Livre sterling, excluding VAT.

Taxes:

The client will have to pay the Paypal payment platform’s commission fee
The customer will be responsible for the payment of VAT if applicable

Houfaz reserves the right to change its prices; the customer will be notified at the beginning of the course session renewal.

ARTICLE 4: Terms of payment

Types of payment accepted:

Paypal service with account
Credit card via Paypal without account

ARTICLE 5: Ordering

Below are the steps for placing an order:

  • Fill in the pre-registration form. Pre-registration is not a final registration.
  • Houfaz sends the client a course schedule and a digital invoice by email so that the client can proceed with payment
  • After validation of the payment by our banking partner, the registration is validated
  • The client can then start the course

ARTICLE 6: Registration

No registration will be validated before the payment of the course session.

The payment of the course session validates the course schedule, the course regulations and the general terms and conditions of sale.

The course session starts at the beginning of each month and ends at the end of the month.

No session starts during the month; you will have to wait until the 1st of the following month to start your session.

ARTICLE 7: Renewal of a course session

Our course sessions are without commitment.

Houfaz sends you a secure digital invoice from the 25th of the month.

To renew the course session, payment must be made before the 31st of the month. Otherwise, the session ends and the course schedule can no longer be booked.

The learner’s course schedule cannot be changed during the session; if parents wish to change the course schedule, they must inform us before the 25th of the month, when the invoice is sent.

ARTICLE 8: Delivery

The course session starts at the beginning of each month and ends at the end of the month.

ARTICLE 9: Right to Retract

The consumer has 14 days to exercise his right of retraction.
Houfaz will only refund if the customer has not used any of the courses.

ARTICLE 10: Refunds

Houfaz provides for a refund in the following cases and on a case by case basis:

Right of retraction according to the consumer code
Non-fulfilment of the course schedule in its entirety on the part of Houfaz

ARTICLE 11: Complaints

ARTICLE 12: Responsibility

In accordance with Article 1147 of the French Civil Code, we are contractually liable to you in the event of non-performance or improper performance of the contract concluded.

However, our contractual responsibility cannot be engaged in the situations mentioned below:
Cases of force majeure and extraneous events that cannot be attributed to us.

The client is responsible for the equipment he uses for the distance learning course via the internet.

Houfaz will provide the customer with a set of rules and regulations at the time of payment of the order; these rules and regulations govern the relationship between the customer and Houfaz for the duration of the course sessions.
If breaches of the rules are found, the customer will be warned and Houfaz has the right to exclude a customer without refund.

ARTICLE 13: Jurisdiction and applicable law

In case of dispute between the customer and Houfaz, the applicable law is French law.

In case of dispute, an amicable settlement between the customer and Houfaz shall be made in the first instance; if the customer and Houfaz do not agree, the customer may request the help of a mediator.

The French courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle the dispute.

The French courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction in the event of a dispute.
